The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/18/2005 Donald W. Norris, 76, died at his home in Alpine, Feb. 12, 2005. He was born in Moline, Illinois May 4, 1928. He had lived in Alpine since 1990. He liked bowling, hunting and fishing and working with wood. He enjoyed a number of close friends and neighbors in the area. Don's survivors include his wife, Barbara, Alpine; daughter Jeri Dawn (Jeff) Howell, Edmond, Oklahoma, three sons; brother Ken Norris, and sisters Nina, Bernadine, Betty and Ellen; and many grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry and Rollie preceed him in death. Funeral Services were Wednesday, Feb. 16, at the Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Eagar. Interment was at the Crestview Cemetery in Durango, Colorado Thursday, Feb. 16.
