Memorial services for Mrs. Artie Smith, 80, who died Friday, June 2, will be held at the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 1230 Willow Creek Road, today at 2:30pm.  George R. Whipple will officiate.

Born in Farmersville, Texas, on Jan. 27, 1898, Mrs. Smith moved to Prescott from Hemet, Calif., in October, 1976.  She was a former member of the First Christian Church in Long Beach, Calif.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Olan of Prescott; one daughter, Mrs. Jeffie Reeves of Prescott; one son, Bob Davis of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandsons, and two great-great-granddaughters.

Private cremation was at Mt. View Cemetery, with Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
