WOOD, Marlene Katherine

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/25/2005 Marlene Katherine Wood, 67, died Feb. 18, 2005 at home in Lakeside. She lived in Lakeside for the past 12 years, worked as a Librarian in Alpine and delivered mail along the Blue River for 10 years. She was a member of the White Mountain Gem and Mineral Club. She is survived by her sons Robert Chapman, Larry Evanburg; brother Ron Evan; granddaughter April Chapman; grandson, Jonathon Irving. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Wood in 1989 and Louis Smith in 2004 and daughter Laura Laundheart in 1990. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. at Fletcher's Mortuary Show Low Chapel.
