Eleanor Ruth (Mardon) Gage Eleanor Ruth Gage born October 20, 1914 died May 8, 2005 at the age of 90, in Prescott, Arizona. Ruth, a pioneer of Arizona, was born and raised in Bisbee, Arizona, daughter of Nellie E. (Foley) Mardon who was born in Tombstone, Arizona and William Payne Mardon. Ruth graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School in Tucson, Arizona in 1938 and worked as a private duty nurse for most of her career until retiring at age 57. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray L. Gage in 1984 and five brothers. She is survived by three sons; Ray (Florie) of Ft. Myers, FL., William (Judy) of Chandler, AZ., John (Linda) of Prescott, AZ., one brother Robert Mardon of Prescott, Az., and three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Ruth's final resting place will be with her mother at the Bisbee Cemetery in Bisbee, AZ. Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary. Heritage Memory Mortuary, Presoctt, Arizona.
