FROST, Catherine Louise

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 02/25/2005 Catherine Louise Lund Frost, 69, died suddenly from a brain aneurysm Feb. 18, 2005. Katie was born in Malad, Idaho Dec. 9, 1935 to Guy and Catherine Lund. She married Ronald N. Frost Aug. 22, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. Katie served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings and loved Relief Society best. She and Ron served two full time Missions to the Temples in Chile, Florida, and Switzerland. Until her passing she and Ron served as temple workers in the Mesa Temple. Katie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to quilt and cook. Her speciality was cinnamon rolls. Katie leaves a legacy of compassionate service to everyone she met. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband and six children, Stacey Owens (Mark) of St. George, Utah, Anne Martin (David), Bill Frost (Kelly), Stuart Frost (Rene), Steve Frost (Rhonda), Christine Hamberlin (Jim) all of Mesa. She had 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by brothers Bill and Marion Lund of Orem, Utah, and sister Lois Lund of Mesa. Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Bunkers Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Mountain View Stake Center, 1550 N. Val Vista Road with visitation one hour prior.
