Clara May Post, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 in Snowflake.
She was born Oct. 11, 1918 to Harry Magie and Mamie Mac Naughten in Montclair, New Jersey. Clara graduated from High School in Montclair. After school she worked in the factory during World War II, she was one for the "Rosie The Riveters" filling in while the men were away at war. Later Clara was a bus driver and Teacher's Aide for the school system in Phoenix. Clara enjoyed knitting, making quilt squares and afghans for needy families.
Clara is survived by her husband, John Post of Snowflake; son, David Post of Mesa; foster son, Albert of Germany; three grandchildren and one adopted granddaughter, Linda M. Rinker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Magie and Mamie Mac Naughten; siblings, Ethel Hoek and Floyd Magie.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3 at the Community Presbyterian Church of Pinetop.
