Lynda Kay Palmer, 63, died at the Friendship House in Eagar Feb. 24, 2005.
Lynda had been a resident of Springerville and the Round Valley for most of her life. She was born May 25, 1941 to Boliver and Edith Browning in Fluvanna, Texas. As a young child her parents moved to Arizona, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a butcher by trade. She liked searching the family geneology, enjoyed reading and quilting.
Her survivors include her children, Edde Castillo, Springerville, Roger Clark, Show Low, and Bobby Palmer, Farmington, New Mexico; sister Dorothy Clark, Safford; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Palmer, daughter Kai Palmer, granddaughter Candyce Palmer and her parents Boliver and Edith Browning. Also her brothers Junior Browning, Harvey Browning and sister Elizabeth Miller.
Funeral services were at the First Southern Baptist Church of Springerville, Monday, Feb. 28. Interment was at the Springerville Cemetery.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary handled the arrangements
