Thomas E. Hooker, 80, of Phoenix, a chef, died Sept. 27, 1990.  He was born in Memphis, Tenn.  

Survivors include his wife, Laurine; five daughters; two sons, and on sister.  

Visitation; 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Browns Colonial Mortuary, 4141 N. 19th Ave.  Services 11 a.m. Tuesday at funeral home.
