The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/04/2005 Phil McCain, of Show Low, died Feb. 17, 2005 in Phoenix. He was born in San Diego, California Dec. 24, 1948 to Clyde and Anne McCain. Phil spent many years in the car industry as a salesman and finance director at various dealerships in the White Mountain and Phoenix areas. He owned Phil's Car Wash from 1999-2002. He was most recently employed with IKON. Phil was interested in race cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, his dogs, and surfing. Phil is survived by his mother Anne McCain of San Marcos, California; son Marc and daughter-in-law Penelope McCain and granddaughter Charlize of Phoenix, AZ; and wife Laurie McCain of Show Low. Phil was preceded in death by his father Clyde, and brothers Joe and Ron. Memorial services were held in Scottsdale Feb. 22.
