The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 4, 1979, p. 9 GERALD BRUCE SIEN Funeral services for Gerald Bruce Sien, an alumnus of Wickenburg High School, were Wednesday last week at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Glendale. Mr. Sien, 45, and his 22-year-old son, John, died in a truck wreck Dec. 22 near Coalinga, Calif. The senior Sien was a heavy equipment salesman 10 years. He came to Wickenburg in 1947, but at the time of his death was a resident of Glendale. His mother, Pearl Sien of Santa Cruz Street here, survives him, as do his widow, Carol Jean; children Mary Elizabeth, Susan Marie, Robert Stephen, Richard Brian and Joseph Lee; a sister, and a brother, both of Phoenix. John Sien is survived by his wife, Kathryn Jean; his mother, two sisters; three brothers, two grandmothers, including Pearl Sien, and a great-grandmother.
