The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 18 1979, p. 11 JOSEPH PAPA The former owner and operator of the Westerner Motel, Joseph Papa, 58, died Jan 6 in the John C. Lincoln Hospital, Phoenix. Services were private. Mr. Papa sold the Motel last September and he and his wife, Dorothy, retired to Phoenix. He was a carpenter supervisor in Oak Lawn, Ill., before moving to Wickenburg in 1968. Survivors are his widow; three sons, James Joseph of Lakeland, Fla., Joseph Leon and Jerry Lawrence; a sister, Bernice of Oak Lawn, and four grandchildren.
