The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 25 1979, p. 9 RONALD PUENTE A memorial fund in the name of Ronald Leslie Puente, 40, victim of an airplane crash in the desert 20 miles south of Wickenburg last week, has been established at the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Puente died in the crash last Thursday. The aircraft was enroute from Wickenburg to the Palo Verde nuclear generating plant near Buckeye, where he was employed as a welding engineer. He was a passenger in the aircraft. Funeral services were Monday in the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Puente was born in Ohio and had been a resident of Wickenburg two years. He was a member of the Wickenburg Saddle Club and a member of the Friday Night Mixed League bowling team. Surviving are his widow, Peggy; two daughters, Lori Lynne and Michelle Annette; two sons, Mark Douglas and Joseph Todd; a brother, a sister, and his father.
