He was born in Kansas and was a retired barber. He belonged to the Immanuel Baptist Church and the American Legion in Tacoma, Wash. Surviving are his widow, Myrtle; two sisters, Hazel Riley of Topeka, Kans., and Gladys Rogers of Atchison, Kans., and numerous nephews and nieces, including Warren Nettleton of Bakersfield. Burial will be in the Restlawn Cemetery, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho.
