The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 8, 1979, p. 9 C. T. HOEKSTRA C. T. “Neal” Hoekstra, 66, a resident of Wickenburg the past eight years, died Thursday last week in Tucson. He was born in Iowa, and had been a cement mason. He was a member and past officer of the Moose lodge of Iowa Falls, Ia., a member of the American Veterans of Wellsburg, Ia. and a member of American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Elma “Curly” Hoekstra; a daughter, Sandra McGuffin, of Wickenburg; five grandchildren, Mark and Bradley Heard of Iowa, and Jull, Jeri and Jamie McGuffin of Wickenburg, and a great-granddaughter, Krystal. Services were Monday morning this week in the Wickenburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don O. Chilton officiating. Private cremation followed.
