Bertha Mae (Beth) Marshall, a native of Arizona, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007. She was born in Prescott on Nov 12, 1931.
Her children; Allan Marshall, Ken and Cheri Schwartz, Bryce and Tara Marshall and Duane and Maya Marshall; nine grandchildren, Lee, Sara, Connor, Emily, Andrew, Sophia, Logan, Isabel and Ella; and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Jayden, survive her.
Bertha is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years and love of her life, James Marshall on May 8, 2007.
She graduated from Prescott High School in 1949 and attended ASU and nurse's training before meeting her husband and beginning a family in 1951.
Bertha volunteered and worked in school libraries and enjoyed the interaction of the children that came with this work. She loved playing the piano, working in her flower garden and spending time with family.
A service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept.24, 2007, at the Prescott National Cemetery, 500 Highway 89 North.
Menke Funeral Home of Sun City handled arrangements.
