JOHN HENRY CURNOW
John Henry Curnow, 75, known by friends as “Jack” died Saturday last week in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix.
He was a native of Arizona, born in Morenci, and had lived here 18 years.
His parents were from Cornwall, and Mr. Curnow attended grade school in England. Later, in the United States, he was a gifted student at Berkley High School and became one of a number of such persons in a life-long psychology study by Dr. Terman at Stanford University.
Following graduation from the University of California, he worked as a metallurgist with Guggenheim in Durango, Mexico.
He retired in 1961 and came to Wickenburg to develop the Las Casitas San Juan subdivision overlooking the Wickenburg Country Club Golf Course.
