ANDERSON, Earlwin John


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, September 16, 2007 Earlwin John Anderson, 71, passed away Sept. 11, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born in Poplar, Mont., to Earl J. and Mary (Denny) Anderson. Earlwin was an enrolled member with the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribe in Montana. Earlwin liked to deer hunt, cut wood and read books. He was honorable discharged in 1962 from the U.S. Air Force. He moved to LA where he attended a trade school for auto body mechanics. There he met his wife, Joanne Darlene Bonnaha. They married on Nov. 6, 1962. The family moved to Prescott in 1973. In 1979, they bought their home in Prescott Valley. He worked at Better Bilt from 1981 to 1998. Earlwin is survived by his daughter Shelley Lynne Campis, Prescott Valley, Ariz.; his sons, Joe Anderson, Glendale, Ariz., and John Anderson, Jr., Tempe, Ariz.; two grandkids, Veronica Campis and Joshua Anderson; a sister, Betty Graves, of Washington state; and distant relatives in Montana. Earlwin was preceded in death by his mother; father; brother, Leslie; and wife, Joanne in 1990. Visitation for Earlwin will be Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sunrise Funeral Home, 816 E. Highway 69 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. No services are planned.
