The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 12, 1979, p. 6 GILBERT NESBIT AKIN A winter resident of Wickenburg, Gilbert Nesbit Akin, 84, died here last Wednesday, April 4. He was born in Timnath, Colo., and had been an engineer. Mr. Akin was a 33rd degree Mason in Ft. Collins, Colo., and for many years was drilling superintendent in the Middle East with the I.P.C.A. Petroleum Co. Surviving are his widow, Gladys, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services and burial were Monday this week at Ft. Collins.
