The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 19, 1979, p. 10 GEORGE FELTS George R. Felts, 77, of Wickenburg, died Apr. 6 in the Prescott Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born in Selma, Ala., and came to Arizona 30 years ago from Georgia. He was veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp and served in the Arizona National Guard during World War II. He worked for the Aero-Smith Corp in Englewood, Calif., as a maintenance man for many years. He was a member of the Wickenburg Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are his widow, Laura; three sisters, Mrs. Dollie Horne and Mrs. Alvia Murrah, both of Richland, Ga., and Mrs. Ida Lee of Tampa, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. Private services were arranged at Memory Chapel in Prescott, followed by cremation and burial in the Rose Garden at Mt. View Cemetery there. The family suggests donations in Mr. Felts’ memory to the American Cancer Society.
