MAHONEY, Harold Cornelius

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 21, 1979, p. 8 HAROLD CORNELIUS MAHONEY Mr. Harold Cornelius Mahoney, of Country Club Park, Space 17, Wickenburg, Az., passed away June 12, 1979 in Phoenix, Az., at the age of 81. Mr. Mahoney, a widower, was a veteran of World War I. he was in Army Artillery and held the rank of Sergeant. Before coming to Arizona eleven years ago, Mr. Mahoney resided in Oakland, Ca., where he was Battalion Fire Chief for the Oakland Fire Department. Survivors include a brother, Val of Hayward, Ca., and a niece Mrs. Ellen Finney of Tucson, Az. Private services and cremation were held. Remains to be interred with his wife at the Fort Whipple National Cemetery, veterans section, Prescott, Az. Arrangements were handled by Universal Memorial Center, 100 E. Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona.
