The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 21, 1979, p. 8 W. C. “DIGGER” DUNNAVANT Former Wickenburg constable W. C. “Digger” Dunnavant passed away June 17. Mr. Dunnavant, a resident of Wickenburg for thirty two years, was a retired mortician. He was an active member of Wickenburg Elks, member of the Masonic Lodge 184, in Brundidge, Ala., and a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Survivor, besides his wife, Marguerite, is a half-brother Harold Dick, Ozark, Alabama. Services will be held Thursday, June 21 at 10 a.m. at the Elks Lodge. An Elks memorial service will be conducted by the Elks officers.
