PARSONS, George B.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, May 1, 1972 George B. Parsons, 62, died on Sunday, April 30, at Yavapai Community Hospital. Parsons was born in Oklahoma on September 3, 1909, and moved to Arizona 55 years ago. He farmed in the Laveen area for 36 years and then for nine years in the Chino Valley area. Parsons also worked for the Phoenix Southside City Bus Co. for two years and for Calhoun Brothers Trucking for 17 years. A former member of the Citizens Band in Prescott, Parsons had been in ill health since 1958. He is survived by his widow, Pearl L., of Chino Valley. Memory Chapel is in chrge of local arrangements. Final plans will be made by the Arizona Funeral Home in Phoenix.
