Carmelita Mendoza joined her heavenly Father May 8, 2010 in Lake Havasu City. She was born June 11, 1956, in Tucson.

Carmelita is survived by her daughters, Taucha Huffner, of Rosevelt, and Shawna Whittaker, of Tucson; son, Aaron Witten, of Lake Havasu City; sisters, Linda McVickery and Glenda Dye; brother, Albert Whittaker; three grandsons; three granddaughters; and a legion of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carmelita was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Wallace; father, Conrad Mendoza; and brothers, Herold and Larry Whittaker.010.
