Kirsten Marie Bauer, 65, passed away May 5, at Polidori House in Lake Havasu City. She was born July 23, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Herman and Kirsten (Desserich) Messner.
Kirsten, mostly known as Kitty to her family and friends, battled with cancer over the last 19 years. She was a true survivor and an ultimate fighter.
Her daughter, Kristy, filled her shoes with her love of the fashion world. Kitty shares a deep connection with her one and only grandson, Dylan. She loved working in her garden and cooking for her husband, Ron. Kitty also loved to spend time reading, shopping, sewing, traveling and especially caring for her family.
Kitty is survived by her devoted husband, Ron; daughter, Kristy; grandson, Dylan; brothers, Sonny and Tony Messner; and sister, Linda Messner.
A private memorial service will be held in Sequoia, Lake Powell, Hawaii and Lake Havasu City, where she and her husband resided.
Kitty was a wife, a mother, a sister and a “Nana” that will be dearly missed.
