Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, May 8, 2010. Anna Decker passed away May 5, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 31. She was born on May 10, 1978, in Torrington, Conn. Anna made Lake Havasu her home 12 years ago. She worked for Havasu Pest Control for two years. Anna was a lover of music and art. She found solace while working in her garden. Anna had a free spirit and an infectious smile. She deeply loved all of her children. Anna leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael Decker, of Lake Havasu; sons, Sage Dunham and Simon Dunham, both of Lake Havasu, and Michael Decker Jr., of Victorville, Calif.; daughters Liberty Foraker, Hope Decker, of Lake Havasu, and Tonette Decker-Jiminez, of Victorville; father, David Van Deusen, of Torrington, Conn.; and mother, Kathy Van Deusen, of Lake Havasu; sister, Greta Samuelson; grandmothers, Rose Doucette of Lake Havasu and Anna Van Deusen of Torrington, Connecticut; aunts, Annette (Jerry) Toupin, of Connecticut, Sue (John) Stebila, of Lake Havasu, Michele (Ike) Webb, of Lake Havasu, and Simone (Al) Soucy, of Colorado; uncles, Stephen (Janet) Van Deusen, of Connecticut, John (Sharon) Doucette, of Massachusetts, and George (Barbara) Doucette, of Lake Havasu City; and two nieces, Maisy and Hanna Samuelson. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers John Doucette and Steven Van Deusen. A celebration of Anna’s life will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
