Raymond A. Brown, 65, died March 12, 2005 at the Baptist Hospital in Phoenix. He was born May 16, 1939, in Phoenix.
Raymond was a heavy equipment operator. He liked to hunt and fish. He liked rodeoing and reciting cowboy poetry. Raymond loved being with his children and grandchildren and he had a special talent for making things with wood. He was a kind-hearted man and was always helping someone.
His survivors include his wife Alice Johns Brown; sons Willie (Lisa) Babers, Jr., Eagar; Cordale (Jennifer) Brown, Tucson; Justin (Tomee) Brown, Eagar; daughters Sheri (Chip) Frizzell, Florence; Lori Brown, Tucson; Cody Coplan, Eagar; Mindi (Kenyon) Peters, Eagar; brother Bobby Brown, Eagar; and sisters Katherine Whitlock and Loretta Slade, Eagar, 26 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents Adolph and Hettie Brown, and son Shawn Babers and brother Billy Brown.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Springerville Ward, Springerville.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Eagar, handled the arrangements.
