WEBER,
Vivian
(Maiden Name: Green)
The White Mountain Independent,
Show Low, Arizona - 03/18/2005
Vivian Green Weber, 86, died March 14, 2005 at Bannon Springs Ranch.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and was raised in Provo and Orem. She has lived in Mesa and Snowflake, Arizona for the past 66 years. She was a homemaker most of her life. Then later in life she decided to work outside the home as a Security Officer for a major munitions plant in Mesa.
She was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving wherever she was asked to serve, but she especially loved choir and any music department. This seemed to come natural, as she was a great-granddaughter of Will Clayton, who composed the popular LDS hymn "Come, Come Ye Saints". Vivian always enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing.
She is survived by two sons Dan E. Stratton and Steven G. Stratton, both of Snowflake; two daughters, Barbara Lynn Whipple of Show Low and Shirley Ann Webb of Queen Creek; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Phillip K. Stratton and Larry Don Stratton and one daughter, Mary Margaret Stratton.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurday, March 17 at the RV Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. There will be a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake.
Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
