The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, July 07, 2007 Mrs. Mary James Rollins, 84, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away Monday, July 2, 2007, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott Valley, with her family by her side. Mary was born May 29, 1923, in Carroll County, Tenn., to the late Elbert and Lola Allen McKinney. She is survived by two daughters, Marie Lawrence, of Huntingdon, Tenn., and Betty Lawrence, of Chandler, Ariz.; a son, Ray Lawrence of Chandler, Ariz.; a sister, Sue Denton, of McKenzie, Tenn.; and two brothers, J. C. McKinney and Billy G. McKinney, both of Illinois. She also leaves a grandson, Christopher Lawrence, of Chandler, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rollins, who passed away Jan. 12, 1979; a brother, Douglas McKinney; and two sisters, Doris Jones and Dorothy McKinney. Mary was a loving mother, a life-long member of the Church of Christ, most recently, the Prescott Valley Church of Christ, and a retired LPN for Samaritan Hospital in Arizona. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2006, at the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home at Huntingdon, Tenn. Interment will follow in the McCauley Cemetery. A Memorial Service will also be at the Prescott Valley Church of Christ at a later date. A very special thanks goes out to Ms. Laquitqa Searles for being a very dear friend and helping Mary in so many ways. Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted with the arrangements.
