James Levi Oler, 77, of Gilbert Arizona, passed away in Prescott Aug. 7, 2007.
James belonged to the Tempe Church of the Nazarene as well as the Toastmasters. He also served as a past president and secretary for the American Power Dispatchers Association. James loved the outdoors and traveled extensively throughout the United States.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn; daughters, Bobbie Jo Miller (Andy), Becky Lynn Witt, Brenda Lee Mastin (Brian), Bonnie C. Howe (Ted), and Belinda Joyce Bennett (Bryan; brothers, Wilbert Jean Oler (Norma) and Carl Oler (Paula); Sister Annabelle Burggraf Garforth (Del); 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, Arizona.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at Tempe Nazarene Church, 3929 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sun Valley Indian School, P.O. Box 4013, Sun Valley, Ariz., 86029.
