Margaret Ellen Almon passed away April 16, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 84. She was born to Lester and Gertrude (Albert) Peppler Oct. 26, 1925, in Kingsford, Mich.
Margaret worked for General Motors in Flint, Mich., as a tool setter for 30 years. Her favorite hobbies were arts and crafts, and she enjoyed fishing and sightseeing. Margaret was an incredible friend and generous to all who knew her. She was a devoted companion and beloved member of the Remington family. Those that knew Margaret will miss her wit, her curiosity and her passion for living. She will remain in our hearts always.
Margaret is survived by her companion and best friend of 40 years, Betty Remington; her adopted family, son, Roger Remington; daughters, Barbara and Dorothy Remington; niece, Sue Bedoine; grandchildren, Davin, Christiana and Angela Remington, and John Anaya; and great-grandchildren Alexandria Remington, Elijah, Joshua and Mariah Brown, Alia Anaya and Max McLeod.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Margaret’s name to New Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave. Unit 106, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
