PLANTEEN, J. Jay

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/18/2005 J. Jay Planteen, 92, died March 16, 2005 at Navapache Regional Medical Center. He lived in Eagar for five years, worked in public school administration at Omaha City Schools. He belonged to the Audubon Society, Arizona Archaeological Society, VFW and American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army, was a WWII veteran and Pacific Theater. He is survived by his son John Planteen (Elizabeth); sister-in-law Maggie Planteen and numerous cousins. No services are planned at this time. Fletcher's Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
