GREENWOOD, Elizabeth Pearl

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/22/2005 Elizabeth Pearl Greenwood, known to all as Betsy, died of a brain tumor March 13, 2005. She died in her parents' arms and surrounded by family members. She was three years old. She is survived by her parents, Adam and Sara Greenwood; her little sister, Emma Caroline; grandparents Bill and Dorothy Greenwood; grandfather Chris Matthews; grandmother Elizabeth Matthews, and great-grandmothers Velma Pearl Mangum Greenwood (of Taylor) and Mary Elizabeth Wiltbank Burton. Betsy led a full life, with more than her share of happiness and pain, and of giving love and being loved. Everyone who knew her will miss her. A viewing was Friday, March 18 at Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary in Eagar. She was buried in the Eagar Cemetery near her Greenwood, Wiltbank, Hamblin, and Mangum relatives, who lie there and in nearby towns. She will rise on the resurrection morning.
