Edward H.
Edward H. Baron, 76, of Paradise Valley, AZ, died peacefully on June 24, 2003. He was born in Sewaren, New Jersey and married the love of his life, Mary Petruska in 1953. Together they raised six children in Cincinnati, OH, and later moved to Scottsdale AZ where he and his family have lived for the past 26 years.
He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Mary, of 50 years; his six children and their spouses: Nancy and Mike Colegrove, Ken Baron, Tom and Susie Baron, Sally and Tom Blanton, Audrey and Lou St. Clair, and Clif Baron; ten grandchildren; a sister: Clara Scheibal and two brothers: Charles Baran and Francis Baran of New Jersey.
Edward served the country as a Naval Radio operator during WWII. He attained his dream of owning and operating a marina on his beloved Ohio River, where he also captained his houseboat for many happy years. Edward had a successful career as a chemical engineer for General Electric in Cincinnati and Garrett AirReseach Corp. in Phoenix. He lived his life with integrity and intelligence.
Edward's children will always be especially grateful for all he has done to shape their lives and he leaves with them a memory of a wonderful father and a generous & kind man who touched the lives of many.
Memorial services will be held at Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. McDonald Dr., Paradise Valley, on Sat. June 28th at 10 am.
