The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/18/2005 Mishell Marie Morgan, 18, died Saturday, March 12, 2005. She was born July 6, 1986 in Gallup, New Mexico. She was raised in Arizona. Mishell had a special relationship with her family; due to her illness she depended on her family all of her life. Mishell had a very special bond with her mother. She loved her music, Barney videos, Celine Dion, and her jewelry, especially bracelets, watches and glasses. She loved sunglasses. Her favorite foods were Pizza, rice and tuna. Mishell enjoyed talking on the phone with teachers, friends, grandparents, and family. She also enjoyed fishing with her dad, bowling with her family, reading books and doing makeup & nails with her sister, Nicole, and praying with her brother Jordan. Mishell developed a love for the Lord and had an unconditional love for everyone she knew. She was a member of Calvary Baptist. Mishell loved school. She loved her teachers, classmates and bus driver. She was involved with the school choir and enjoyed being part of that program. Mishell's family wants her to be remembered by her smile and her hugs. She is no longer in pain from her 18 years of epilepsy. She won the battle for 18 years and her final battle was won for her. She was called into everlasting life with her Heavenly Father. Mishell is survived by her parents, William "Bill" and Carla Morgan of Show Low; sister, Nicole of Show Low; brother, Jordan of Show Low; grandmother, Janice Morgan of Coolidge; grandparents, James and Etsuko Marshall of Sun City. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Walter Morgan. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Calvary Baptist Church Show Low. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements. Mishell never knew a stranger in her lifetime. She always gave unconditional love to everyone she met. Mishell will be best remembered for her big beautiful smile and warm affectionate hugs. On March 16, Bill and Carla Morgan, Mishell's parents received the Gift of Life Donor Medal on behalf of Mishell. Each year the lives of men, women and children are saved or greatly improved through the miracle of transplantation. The true heroes behind this miracle are the donors who gave the gift of life and the families who made it possible.
