Dorothy Irene Parkhurst Linsten, 89, died March 29, 2005. 
      
Dorothy was born in Chandler Sept. 30, 1916 and was a descendant of Noah Webster. She graduated Chandler High School and Arizona State University. She lived in Pinetop-Lakeside and was a teacher at Blue Ridge Elementary School. Dorothy was a former member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Pinetop, Musical Arts Society and Delta Kappa Gamma.
      
She is survived by her son Ronnie (Ron) Graham (Dolly); grandchildren, Daniel Graham (Patti), Toni Graham Smith (Jeff) and; great-grandchildren Memphis and Atley Graham; also brother Ken Parkhurst of Reno, Nevada; also nieces and nephews.
      
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin (Al) Lindsten.
      
As per her request, no services will be held. Donations can be made to the White Mountain Humane Society, Hospice or the Alzheimers Association.
