Tucson Daily Star 25 May 2010 Manuel Pacheco Apodaca Passed away May 21, 2010. Manuel 72, was born on December 12, 1937 in Phoenix, AZ. A very loved and respected man from Winkelman, Hayden, Kearny and Oracle, AZ area. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Preceeded in death by his father, Manuel C. Apodaca; mother, Anita P. Ortiz and brother, Arnold Apodaca. He will be greatly misssed by his beloved and devoted wife of 52 years, Gloria; his son, Billy; daughter, Rosalind Garcia (Cleto Camarena) of Tucson; son, David (Deanna) of Oracle; son, Michael (Valerie) of Flagstaff; grandchildren, Nicholas (Rose), Daniel (Alicia), Elizabeth, Michaela, Kevin, Elijah, Athena and David Apollo; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Elianna, Marianna, Angelina, Robert, Jadon, Gabriella and Angelito; sister, Olga (Manuel) Gonzalez (Kearny); brother, Roger (Angie) Apodaca (Winkelman). Manuel worked for Kennecott and Asarco for the majority of his life, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends, camping, fishing and hunting and especially golfing with his son, Billy. Services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hayden. Published in the Tucson Newspapers on May 25, 2010
