MAURER, Donna Lorraine

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 Donna Lorraine Maurer passed away on April 17, 2010, at her residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 68. She was born on April 18, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to David and Rita (Kunzleman) Lowther. Donna and her husband, Richard, moved to Lake Havasu City 14 years ago from Chino Hills, Calif., where she worked at St. George’s School in Chino, Calif. Prior to St. George’s, she worked at St. Mary’s School in Whittier, Calif., as a secretary. Donna is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard; son, Stephen Maurer and his wife Shellie, of Chino, Calif.; daughters, Susan Maurer and Sharon Maurer, both of Lake Havasu City; brothers, David Lowther and his wife Janice and Thomas Lowther, all of Lake Havasu City; four grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Randall and Allison Maurer. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Rita and her sister, Judith Drake. Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a rosary said at noon. Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Internment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
