Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Published Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Donald Gene Ross passed away April 16, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 74. He was born to Alfred Lewis and Urzella Jones on Nov. 10, 1935, in Los Angeles, Calif. Donald married his beloved bride, Marilyn Leonora Skinner, on Nov. 30, 1956, and together they made Lake Havasu City their home 22 years ago from San Gabriel, Calif. He worked for Garfield Auto Supply as a mechanic in Rosemead, Calif., for several years. He enjoyed flying his small plane and he loved his dog, Zack. Donald leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Marilyn Ross; daughters, Tamara Lynn Ross-Chaney and her husband Paul and Kim Suzanne Ross; one brother, Jack McCorkle and five grandchildren, David, Chrysti, Holly, Yvon and Donnie. Donald loved and adored his grandchildren, and he will be dearly missed by them all. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
