Irwin, a retired farmer from New York, had lived in Congress 5 months with his wife Shirley. He was a member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge. The services consisted of a private cremation with interment in Sterling, New York. Survivors are his wife, Shirley, two daughters, one son and eight grandchildren. The family requests donation to the Heart Fund.
