The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 25, 1979, p. 7 EUNICE MATTHEWS Eunice B. Matthews, of Phoenix, died Wednesday Oct. 10. Mrs. Matthews was a housewife, and was a housewife, and was active in the Pillar Baptist Church in Congress for 50 years. She played the piano and was socially active. Eunice came by train to Arizona 60 years ago. She had operated Bullard Mines before moving to Congress 50 years ago. She is survived by one nephew, James Bragaw, Birmingham, Michigan. Services were held at Congress Baptist Church Monday, Oct. 15 at 10:00 a. m. Burial was in Wickenburg Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. John E. Ferguson of Phoenix.
