GENEVIEVE BILLINGSLEY
Genevieve Billingsley, a former long-time resident of Wickenburg, died Sunday, Nov. 25.
Mrs. Billingsley moved to Wickenburg in 1915 and lived for more than fifty years on the 0-Bar-7 Ranch near piedmont.
She was born Genevieve Edmund and married K. J. Billingsley April 18, 1915, in Wheeling, West Virginia. The couple returned to Billingley’s ranch home, located 29 miles, northwest of Wickenburg, and lived there until moving to Sun City eight years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Kester J. Billingsley, Sun City; a son, Bud Billingsley, Grants Pass, Oregon; three daughters, Mrs. Nich Gaunt, Phoenix, Mrs. Henry Shelton, Sun City, and Mrs. Hal Warner, Wickenburg; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
