CARUK,
Peter
Peter Caruk, after a long illness, passed away June 24, 2003 at the age of 88. Born in Canada in June 1914. Peter worked for many years with Anaconda American Brass in Ontario, Canada before moving his family to the United States in 1960, eventually moving into Palm Lakes Village, in Phoenix in 1985.
Peter was a people person who was the life of a party and a jokester. A mason by trade, Peter's skills were well known in the Phoenix area where he especially enjoyed building a fireplace showing someone wanting to learn the trade. Always willing to help out a fellow neighbor with building a wall, concrete slab driveway or working with his hands building a fireplace always put a smile on his face.
Pete was the last of a family of eight but will be lovingly remembered by Stella, his soul-mate of over sixty-six years and a daughter Ruth and son-in-law Ernie Turner from Toronto, Canada. Not only was Pete a good father and provider he loved life and the many friends and family will miss him very much and cherish the many happy years spent together. The love and kindness is being missed daily.
