Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Published Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Terry Lee Hansen passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 70. Terry was born on February 9, 1940, in Britton, S.D., to Vernan and Vesta (Cartner) Hansen. Terry and his wife Ruth moved to Lake Havasu City nine years ago from Davenport, Wash. While living in Washington, Terry worked for Frontier Airlines for 27 ½ years and then went to work for the Spokane Transit Authority for 15 years. Terry was a very busy person, a handyman, always looking for something to help people with, according to his wife Ruth. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. Terry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth; son Brett Hansen and his wife Margaret of Seattle, Wash.; daughter Kristi Lynn O’Dell of N. Richland Hills, Texas; brothers, Jesse Hansen and his wife Patricia of Arkansas and Tim Hansen and his wife Angela of Hawaii; and grandchildren Megan Hansen, Lisa Hansen, Amy Hansen and Caleb O’Dell. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Reverend Richard Rounds will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
