Mr. Shelton J. Francis, founder and former C.E.O. of Horizon Community Bank, died unexpectedly on Sunday Aril 11, 2010 at the age of 74.

He was born in New Bedford, Mass. He had a distinguished, successful career in the banking field. His most recent accomplishment was being the organizer, founder, and

C.E.O. of Horizon Community Bank.

Mr. Francis leaves his wife, Madeleine; three sons, Kevin, Keith and Christopher; one sister, Eleanor Souza; two granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held in Massachusetts.
