SHORTY, Lola Mae

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, May 26, 2010 Lola Mae Shorty, 63, of Flagstaff died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Olivia White Hospice Home. She was born March 31, 1947, in Carthage, Miss., to Grady and Mary Buckley Graham. Ms. Shorty worked at Northern Arizona University until 1998. She was a very active and faithful member of the Rock Full Gospel Church of Flagstaff. Ms. Shorty is survived by her son, Mala Shorty; companion James Hickman; sisters Mary Autrey and Helen Summers; grandson Michael Shorty; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Micole Brian Shorty, a little more than a year ago; and her parents. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E.
