Thelma E. McAdoo, 76, died April 4, 2005 in the arms of her family. 
      
She was born July 7, 1928 in Phoenix. Thelma left a legacy of love and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and acquaintances that were blessed by her warm spirit and selfless love. Throughout her life she shared herself with others through her joy of cooking, quilting, and by taking care of those in need. 
      
She is survived by daughter, Betty and son-in-law Greg Gullett; son William C. McAdoo II; and daughter-in-law Connie; four grandchildren, David McAdoo (Melissa), Jennifer McAdoo, Joyce (JR) Cope, Lance Gullett; and great granddaughter Ashley Laurenn McAdoo. She also leaves behind two brothers Billie (Sandy) Keene and Gerald (Wanda) Keene, along with a number of nieces and nephews. 
      
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 8 at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Trinity Hospice: 6245 N. 24th Pkwy No. 200A, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
