The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Thursday, May 27, 2010 Glenn A. Adams 1918 - 2010 Glenn A. Adams, 92, of Sedona, Arizona, died May 18, 2010. He was born in Richmond, California, on February 13, 1918. He was preceded in death by his wife Francis Adams. He is survived by son Glenn Adams III (wife Carol), daughter Karen Colberg (husband Roger), sister Jo Davis (husband Doug), five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Glenn was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp and later the U.S. Air Force retiring as a Colonel. His career was in Economics for the Standard Oil Company of California where he retired and moved to Sedona in 1978. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Red Rocks, Sedona on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 10 AM. Information provided by survivors.
