Ryan Lovel Rogers, died April 16, 2005 at the White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Springerville. He was 56.
Ryan was born Dec. 12, 1948 in Cottonwood to Lovel and Dorothy Cosper Rogers. Ryan was a minister for the Church of Christ for most of his adult life. He had worked as a flooring installer for 31 years.
His survivors include wife Leona Slade Rogers, Springerville; sons Jeffrey Shane Rogers, Eagar; Dustin Steve (Beth) Rogers, Fresno, Calif.; Michael Ryan (Crissy) Rogers, Colorado Springs, Colo.; William Ray Damon, Ola, Ark.; John Leslie Damon, Springerville, and Don Edwin Looker, Springerville; daughters Presley CheriƩ (Mike) Sultan, Eagar; Amber Kay (Ray) Whitman, Paris, Texas. Also brothers Dennis Elvin (Judy) Rogers, Tucson; Albert DeWitt (Kathleen) Rogers, Mesa; and sisters Tenoha Rae Eagar, Thornfield, Mo.; Shirlie Mariette (Donnie) Wilson, Clinton, Ark.; Susan Ginger (Donnie) Gilliam, Eagar; and Fara Dawn (Ron) Arebalo, Eagar; 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents Loren Lovel Rogers and Dorothy Mae Cosper Rogers.
A memorial service was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Springerville Chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21.
