YOUNG BARON, Ellen Wilkinson

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, September 16, 2006 Ellen Wilkinson Baron, 89, passed away on September 13th, 2006 at her home in Prescott, Arizona surrounded by her family. Ellen was born in Bisbee, Arizona on February 21st, 1917 to Frederick and Margaret Wilkinson Penna, immigrants from Millom, Cumberland, England. Shortly after Ellen's birth her family moved to Jerome, Arizona where Ellen was raised. She married George B. Young in 1932 and gave birth to her son, Thomas Frederick Young, in 1933. Later in 1950 Ellen married Parker Baron from Kirkland Junction, Arizona. Ellen took great pride in her and Parker's success as independent business owners. He preceded her in death. In addition to her dear friends Ellen leaves behind a loving family that includes her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Pat Young, her sister Margaret Bigelow, her grandson and his wife Brian and Betsy Young, and her granddaughter Pam Young and partner Tim Duplanty. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday, September 18th at 11 am at the Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave, Prescott.
