Raymond Eugene O’Brien, 74, a retired State Farm Insurance agent of San Bernardino, Calif., passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Lake Havasu City. He was a member of many organizations; Shrine Club (P.P.), Blue Lodge No. 178 (P.M.), Kiwanis (P.P.), High Twelve S.B., Chamber of Commerce, S.B. Elks No. 836, Life member of the Girl Scouts, Eastern Star Gate City No. 212, Toast Master (P.P.), Scottish Rite, Eagles AZ and Present Commodore of Lake Havasu Yacht Club.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catherine, of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Julie (Bob) Lewis, of Highland, Calif., Deborah (Bob) Ohlms, of Lake Havasu City, and Janice (Mike) Delaney of Yucaipa, Calif.; brothers, Richard and Joseph, of California, Edward, Bill and Roy of Illinois; sisters, Lorraine, Maxine and Chelsa of Illinois; grandchildren, Loni, Lisa, Mollie, Becky, Kif, Nick, and Jesse, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nettie O’Brien; and beloved grandson, Michael D. Delaney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Myrna Young will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
